By Air

The most convenient way to reach Awasi is by flying into Kisumu International Airport (KIS), which is the main gateway for travelers heading to Kisumu County. The airport is serviced by several major airlines with regular flights from Nairobi and other key cities.

By Road

If you prefer traveling by road, Awasi is well-connected via the Kericho-Kisumu Highway B1. Here are the driving directions:

  1. From Nairobi: The journey by road from Nairobi to Awasi takes approximately 5-6 hours, covering around 350 kilometers. Head west on the A104 highway towards Nakuru, then take the A104 and B1 highway towards Kisumu.

  2. From Kisumu City: Awasi is about a 30-minute drive from Kisumu city center. Take the Kisumu-Kakamega Road and turn onto the B1 highway towards Kericho. Follow the signs to Awasi.
